Pose this horse during lessons to help explain horse's anatomy and gait. Add a doll to help demonstrate how the rider should sit during various parts of the stride. Use a doll to help an anxious (or overly enthusiastic) child learn how to approach a horse, how to touch a horse, etc.
Horse is same scale as an 11" fashion doll (such as Barbie). So, she can act out grooming, tacking up, and riding using any Barbie type doll she has. Dolls can also sit on the doll - though how well they sit in the saddle depends upon the exact style of doll. We've shown 2 Barbie Brand styles for reference. One has jointed legs, knees, and elbows. The other (in white jacket) is the more typical style "Barbie" doll - her legs are somewhat flexible, but are not jointed.
Please note there are many different Barbie body styles, with only 2 shown here.
Note: Dolls and doll accessories (helmet, clothing, etc) are not included.
Note - This horse also makes a neighing sound when the "bit" in her mouth is pushed in. This was meant to be done by pulling on the reins which are connected to the bit, but that feature does not work well, and, the bridals are actually split apart in that spot. We suggest cutting the loose piece of bridal off so it looks just like the photo here.
